Is this a bad joke?
I read hundreds of online reviews of this shoe, each more glowing than the next, and scoured the Internet until I could find a pair that was dramatically reduced in price. Within seconds of trying them on, I thought I must have been on the receiving end of an Internet-wide joke; these were amongst the most uncomfortable shoes I've tried in my life.
I'm still somewhat in shock and am having quite a bit of trouble believing this (Allrounder is so widely lauded), but I have to face the facts, as well as give them to you to decide if you're willing to take a chance on this expensive footwear. Expense is NOT a problem for me; I routinely drop big bucks on multiples styles and colors of Birkenstock, Dansko, and other quality comfort brands. But they have to actually be "comfortable!"
Alright, let's get to it (while I'm still shaking my head in mystification).

be careful
i own many, many pairs of Mephisto shoes. They are, hands down, the best on earth. however, be careful, this line of mehphisto is made in China, not in "France as the other shoes are. There are problems with quality that you can see and feel. They just do NOT feel like a mephisto shoe. Careful!
bad 4 plantar fascitis
This shoe has no support. It cost me 3 doctor visits, an x-ray and a lot of pain to find this out. Also, the velcro tends to catch on pant or long dress fabric. I though being a Mephisto shoe, it would be a quality shoe, but NO!
