Bloch dance sneakers
Perfect dance sneakers. I use them to practice. Very comfortable, good arch support, flexible, just enough slide. The sizes run very small. I had to return the first pair I ordered, and exchange for 1 full size larger.
Order one full size larger than your regular shoes!
They arrived in perfect condition and quite quickly.
This is my second pair. I wore off my first one completely. Danced in them for 5 years.
Best Zumba Shoe Ever!
I was wearing running shoes to Zumba class and figured out quickly that they are exactly the opposite of what you should be wearing for an exercise class like Zumba. They don't allow for easy side to side movements and I was started to get soreness in my knees. I ordered these dance shoes and they are perfect for allowing full range of movement, front to back and side to side. I am no longer experiencing pain in my knees. They are affordable and seem to be made well. They are super lightweight and bend completely in the middle which allows me to point my toes and get a better leg workout for certain moves. Much cheaper than the shoe Zumba sells. So happy with my purchase and I will be recommending them to other ladies In my class.

These shoes are really light and cute and I thought I might be able to wear them but they are way too narrow and they don't make them in wide. Too bad!! Had to send them back.

Review of Puma Dance Shoe
I'm a little disappointed with the stiffness of the leather, if that's what the upper part is made of. It's very thin and stiff. Otherwise I like the style and fit. I have used these shoes in 4 Zumba classes to date and they allow great lateral motion.
not what I expected
I bought these for Zumba as I had been wearing my Nikes' Musica for over 3 years. The little 'sweet spot' on the bottom has now worn down and I don't have as much traction, and too much slip and slide. These looked stylish, 'slender' and not clunky like the Nike's; but the fit doesn't feel as sturdy. The arch is odd and does not give me security (I have high arches). No problem with narrowing and the size 9 is the right size (Nike I had to go up a size). An odd thing: the laces feel like ribbons, and not cotton laces we know to be on sneakers. They are less expensive than the Nikes, so maybe that is why I feel they are inferior. Wish there was another Zumba sneaker, though. I will return them and get another pair of the clutsy Nikes! Sigh!

Perfect for dance or exerciise!
I am a competative ballroom dancer who also does either Core Rhythms or Zumba 6 days a week. I live in these sneakers--I am on my third pair but considering the workout they get they are really tough! I have tried a few other brands but they are a little stiff, these are a little softer and more comfortable, they are great for exercise, rehersal,and practice. I just wish the judges would let me compete in them, my spins are a lot less wobbly that way.

sizing info and other helpful info
It can be very difficult to order shoes online, however, this is especially true of dance shoes/sneakers. After exchanging 3 pairs of dance shoes purchased from an online store, I was forced to shop locally to get the right size and fit.

I finally bought the Capezio Canvas Dansneakers. Most dance shoes are not true street shoe size.
My street shoe size is a 6.5 and a 7 would have been fine, except that the right shoe rubbed a little and I didn't want to chance that, so I moved up to a 7.5. For most, a 1/2 size up should work.

The width of the Dansneaker runs true. These shoes are as light as a feather, comfortable as a cozy slipper, but offers suitable arch support and exceptional heel cushion/support. Most regular "Zumba" style shoes are really too clunky (IMHO) and a little too heavy for a serious dancer.

Dansneakers allow for spins and slides. The split sole is terrific for flexing and intricate dance moves (like standing on your toes!) The...
Plain looking, but does the trick
When I received these shoes in the mail, I thought yuck. They are just plain white and look like old fashioned cheap tennis sneakers. And when I tried them on, I thought they felt so weird - a sneaker without arch support is an odd feeling. But I wore them to my zumba class, and loved them! I still think the lack of arches is weird, but it was so much easier to move around doing the dance moves in these sneakers, compared to regular sneakers! Especially lunges and machete step, they were a breeze! I do recommend them for dance classes...though maybe get the better looking (more expensive) version, I think it's called Fierce.

Comfortable with good support
I bought these for Zumba classes because regular sneakers are clunky and stick to the floor, making it difficult to pivot, slide, and shake to the latin beat. I'm enjoying the class so much more with the right shoes. According to the Zumba instructor, these shoes shouldn't be worn for other fitness classes, so the price offered on Amazon.com was just right. My street shoe size is 8; and based on the reviews I read, I bought a size 9, and they fit.

6/5/2010 - I am on my second pair!! The first pair lasted through 2-3 Zumba classes per week, AND when they got a little stinky, I'd throw them into the wash (cold water gentle cycle). Great shoe for a great price!

Great shoe!!
I am a professional fitness/dance instructor and I love this shoe!! I teach a number of latin dance based cardio classes and have found that this is the perfect shoe to handle all of the turns,lateral dance moves as well as the sculpting routines in my class.
Used these for a Zumba class
I wore these in one Zumba class and they were very uncomfortable and ended up hurting my feet. I do feel that you should just get 1/2 size larger than your normal street shoe, though. I wear a size 9 and got a 10 due to the reviews. Though these fit, I think they should fit a little more snug; for Zumba, anyway. You don't want your foot moving around in the shoe. They seemed a little clunky to me too. Kind of like I was wearing a man's shoe. I returned them and got a pair of Capezio Women's Web Dansneaker; and I love them!!

Like dancing on air
Loving these dance sneaks. They are SO lightweight! Where I Zumba, the floors aren't so great. The Capezios I wore had me slipping on certain parts of the floor like I was on ice. But these Bloch's are great; I only slide when I want to. I wear an 8.5 - 9 in street shoes, and bought these in a size 10 and they fit perfectly.

Great Zumba Shoe!
When I started attending Zumba classes, I found that my regular tennis shoes were too "grippy" and they didn't allow me to pivot, turn, and twist very easily, and after a few sessions I found that my knees were hurting after class a little bit, and I had never had knee trouble before. SO, I researched the options for inexpensive but excellent Zumba shoes, since this is really the only type of exercise that I regularly do. These Sansha Dynamo shoes are GREAT! They are soft and comfortable, and they have just enough rubber sole on the toe/ball and heel parts of the shoe that they provide enough support and cushion for jumping while remaining completely flexible. I love these shoes for Zumba class -- they have freed my feet from the floor! :-)

Works well for Zumba class
I normally wear a women's 6.5M so I followed what the other reviews suggested and ordered a size 8. I was nervous about the bigger size but when they arrived the shoes fit just fine. The tag inside the shoes says 8M and then also says US Ladies size 6.5. I've been using my running shoes for Zumba and always felt like my ankles were sore after class (they are not built for dancing!) After wearing these shoes to class, no ankle or knee problems. I felt like I could twist and move a lot better. The only drawback to these shoes is they have a very thick front and back sole and no sole in the middle so I feel they look like high heel sneakers. This may just be the way dance shoes are built. These are the same shoes my Zumba instructor uses so I guess they must be good for dance.

Great Zumba Shoe.....
Great shoe for Zumba... Comfortable and a great price. Very happy with my purchase. I am glad I read the reviews prior to purchasing since they do use the European sizing... I am an 8us and I purchased an 11 on their scale and they fit perfectly. Would recommend highly. They offer lots of support and are very comfortable.

I absolutely love these shoes. I've taken Zumba classes in the past and tried several expensive dance sneakers, but none of them compare to these. The perfect shoe for zumba or jazzercise. These shoes are light weight and very flexible. Definitely going to get another pair.

BTW, Amazon has corrected the sizing info. I wear a size 9 and ordered size 12 per the chart- they were a perfecf fit.

These are very high quality for the price and were delivered right away. I do not agree with other reviews suggesting to order a 1/2 size up.

I have slender feet, not too narrow but not too wide. I would be happier with my normal size- they stretch out the minute you walk around in them.

Great shoe, runs 1 size small...
I wear a size 8.5 or 9 in most shoes. I took the advice of others and ordered 1 size up. Since I have wide feet I ordered a 10. It fits perfectly...just slightly long, but not a problem. Wore them to my hour long Zumba class and I was able to turn and twist without any problems. The leather is very soft and I felt no hot spots in the shoe.

I used to dance in my Vibrim 5 finger shoes, which worked fine until the gym I go to changed their flooring (it's not a slick as it used to be). So my Vibrims stuck too much to the floor and my calves and knees ached after class.

What drew me to this shoe were the reviews that stated that there is little to no support in this shoe. It is almost as if I am dancing barefoot, which is why I liked the Vibrim shoes. So, if you don't need the arch support and like to dance barefoot, you may really like this shoe! If you need the support of an athletic shoe, this is not the shoe for you.
fits like a glove
Just got my shoes today. They are super light-weight and the soft leather will mould to your feet. I bought these shoes for Zumba and will try them out at class tonight. The fit of these shoes is similar to that of a regular leather jazz shoe. I never liked to wear thick socks with my jazz shoes so I don't suspect these shoes will feel all that comfortable with socks given the fit is similar to a jazz shoe. I bought a half size up from my normal street shoe size and they fit perfectly, which is great since my feet won't slide around in the shoe when doing pivots and turns. The floors at our studio can get pretty sticky during humid weather so pivot pod will be perfect for that. Love how the split sole allows for pointing and flexing of the foot. Only giving 4/5 starts because they kinda look funny on my feet, but I think that has more to do with my natural foot shape than my shoe. I know that the shoes will stretch after a few wears since I've had shoes made with soft leather...

Better Than Expected
I was pleasantly surprised by these Dance Sneakers! I wanted some dance sneakers for Zumba! I had tried a few others and had to send them back! Bloch DRT Boost and another Bloch. I have wide feet and a very high arch/instep. Finding shoes is difficult for me to say the least. These are perfect! They have enough room for my wide feet, and they are sooo comfortable to dance in! I wear a size 7 and I bought an 8 1/2. I found while searching, that dance sneakers tend to run short. Most are narrow as well. For these shoes I reccomend: If you have wide feet high arch: get 1 1/2 size bigger, if you have normal feet: 1 size bigger should work. if you have narrow feet: 1/2 size bigger should work. If you do have to exchange them, I would just get the refund and re-order. They had VERY fast shipping and charge back was quick as well.

Great for Zumba
My 4th pair of capezio dancesneaker and these are my favorite. I have very wide feet and these are the first pair I wear that feel like I wasn't wearing any shoes. Very light weight, the high top felt a bit funny at first but they are not noticable when I start dancing. I did order half a size bigger than my regular sneaker size and they fit perfect. I love them for my zumba class.
I've tried everything for ZUMBA
I started Zumba IN October 2011. My ankles killed me from going side to side. I bought the best sneaker, then went on zumba.com and bought the best high top zumba shoe (quickly sent them back) they were way to stiff. Finally after reading some reviews I purchased these. They are really lite and take a little getting used to because they are made for dancing. After using them now for 2 months, I would totally recommend them! Ohh I wear a 9 and bought a 10. They are perfect, so go one size up.

it`s my second pair of Bloch Women`s Trinity Sneakers. I have used them for my Zumba classes every day. I bought 1,5 size bigger, because I am using insoles with gel.I Like this model, BUT the soles of the shoes was erased out very quickly (less then 6 months). Anyway it is comfy, very light, very flexible, you can do any rotation, dont need to tie these shoes

Too tight!
I bought these shoes for Zumba. I ordered a half size larger as advised for any dance shoe. The length fit perfectly but because I have a high arch I could not stand the tight fit. The tongue of the shoe is a tight elastic netting and I found I could not wear the shoe with or with out socks so I sent them back. It really is a shame because the shoe is attractive and the little bit I did wear them on a linoleum floor they seemed liked they would have worked.
They run small
These shoes work well for Zumba classes. Just be sure you buy a 1/2 size or size larger than your size shoes because I found that they run small. They are also pretty narrow shoes so if you have a wider food they may not be the best choice

Love these shoes!
I enjoy dancing at our local Sr. Center where the floor is linoleum tile. On humid days, wearing Skechers or similar shoes, my feet would stick to the floor, making it difficult to handle certain steps. I took a chance and ordered these shoes because I also liked the arch support it features. From the moment I put them on, I realized I'd made a wise purchase and today, after dancing for 1 1/2 hrs in them, I am even more satisfied. My only complaint is that I couldn't get white in my size. I'll keep checking back to see when they become available & when they do, I'll order a pair!

Great little shoe!
I usually buy sneakers with a thin sole so I can flex my foot & point my toes. The soles typically spit across the middle of the sole at the arch, so I decided to buy a pair of split sole shoes. These fit the bill & I am very pleased with them. They are light weight & provide the flexibility in the arch that I need to exercise my foot & ankle after 4 ankle surgeries. I will use them for ballet exercise but also as a casual walking shoe. They seem true to size, are comfortable and provide the support I wanted.
Exactly What I Was Looking For
I have taken many years of studio dance (ballet, jazz, modern) and some ballroom (salsa, swing). I recently decided to get back in shape after having been out of the dance world for a few years while I had a couple of kids. At my local YMCA they have Zumba and Cardio Jazz classes. It quickly became apparent that my standard sneakers did not provide enough movement, but my old jazz shoes did not provide enough cushioning. Enter the dance sneaker (yay!).

I just chose this pair of shoes out of 4 pairs I bought, the other 3 being:
Sansha Blitz 3 Dance Sneaker
which was almost just as good (especially loved the red color), but the stripes that come down into the arch created more of a point than a curve to the arch which could get uncomfortable after a bit of dancing I would imagine. Whereas these Dyna-Sites felt nice and rounded through the arch. Still, it was a hard choice...
