VERY diasappointed in Skechers
I normally LOVE Skechers brand shoes and I have purchased this exact style of shoe in the past and been very happy. BUT I recently bought a new pair and they have changed the inner sole of these shoes to some new silky material. While it may feel good when you first put them on, after you wear them for about 15 minutes and the leather warms and stretches a bit, that silky slippery sole makes it IMPOSSIBLE to keep the shoes on your feet. After one day of wear my feet were KILLING me from constantly curling my toes and walking funny to keep the shoes from flying off my feet! I decided to give them another chance with a different pair of socks...same thing, aching feet. I am sooooooo disappointed because I love Skechers shoes and in the past would never hesitate to buy them off the internet. Not anymore. So sad.

Wonderful shoes
This is the only kind of shoe I have worn for everyday use for the past 5 years! The only ones I didn't like were the laced up mules, but this style is perfect! My old shoes wind up as garden shoes, the new pairs go 'out' on the town! Once they are broken in they are very comfy, not hard. Offer great support for knees, feet, ankles. I walk, garden and even do barn chores. Clean up easily. I have to buy them on Amazon an the local stores don't carry them now. Please don't stop making these shoes! I am not a kid, but feel like one wearing these.
Disappointed
Normally, I love Skechers shoes. However, these shoes are poorly made and much cheaper looking than my previous slip-on Skecher shoes, which unfortunately are no longer available. You can't tell in the picture but the small dots on the front of the shoe are sparkly as are the back two blue areas on the sole. I could do without the sparkles. Also, the lining in one shoe is glued in askew. I don't think I can remove it without destroying the shoe. Would not have purchased them if I had seen them up close in a store.
