DON"T by your current shoe size!!!
People, if you want a more comfortable experience by at least 3 times your shoe size. Two times is not enough. Additionally, if you will be exercising on carpet do not purchase the shoe by itself. Get the glider piece from Zumba or find a shoe that glides on carpet. Last, when you're first using the shoe it leaves stains on your carpet from the mesh bottom. Be prepare to shampoo your dancing space in about two days if not less.

Great dance shoe for hand dancing . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
wish I could do better
I tried the Sansha salsette because of the the felt bottoms. I want to be able to do turns on the dance floor and have a flat soled shoe. There must be something better out there. I suppose I could figure out how to glue felt to the bottom of some cute 50's tennis shoes but I was hoping to find a pair on the market. I just wish these were cuter. They run small, even if you follow the recommended sizing. I wear a womens 8 in running shoes, a 7 or 71/2 in dress shoes and I got a 9 in these, they are still a tad tight. the main thing is that solid black is hard to wear with my skirts and they look flat and squishy. wishing they had a more refined shape and form to them.
