They're causing a blister! I'm so bummed.
I really wanted to like these shoes. I love Merrell's shoes for my husband and my son, they always last a really long time and continue to look great after a lot of wash and wear. Unfortunately, the stretchy fit around the ankle causes the shoes to rub my heel raw even with socks on. I can't imagine they will loosen up over time because of the elastic, so I will likely return these shoes.

Comfortable and cute
I don't usually buy Merrell but these sneakers are attractive and felt great. They are very lightweight and low profile in style. I usually wear 6.5 but with this shoe size 7 fit perfectly so it seems to run a little small.
