It is a little unusual to start out a review this way, but before I review the pair of Fitflop shoes on this particular listing, I'll give some background about my general search for Fitflops that work for me, and then I'll describe my experience with this specific item.

Background: I have plantar fasciitis, and have recently begun to look for new shoe brands that I have not tried before and which have a reputation for being good and comfortable for people who have heel pain.
In order to try out the "feel" of a Fitflop, a couple of weeks ago I ordered a pair of Fitflop houseslippers in a discontinued purple color that was on sale, and I liked them much better than I had expected to. The footbed of those slippers literally erases the heel pain that I've had constantly (when standing or walking) for the last 12 months. Cool shoes but the size is WAY off
I would have given these shoes 4 stars but the size is totally off. I usually wear an 8 in sneakers, and after reviewing the previous reviews Ididn't see anything about them fitting large so I thought it safe to order my standard size. It says on the description WOMEN's sneakers but I sware they sent me a men's size 8. These shoes are at least 2 sizes too big. I really like them but guess I will have to order a 6 and hope I don't have to pay for return fees again.... I was so excited to get these shoes...sad.

these shoes are very comfortable for people with problem feet and at the same time they don't look like orthopaedic shoes which is a real plus. i would recommend these shoes to anyone. i have them in all colours available.
