OMG!!!!! These shoes are a miracle to me!!!!!My best friend recently purchased these shoes because she was majorly getting into a new fitness program. When I first saw them (black uppers/hot pink soles), I thought they were hideous looking. She raved and raved about their light weight and comfort.
Well, last year my dog ate one of my New Balance Walking Shoes (very expensive) and I hadn't replaced them till now. I recently adopted a new boxer puppy and she needs lots of walking and exercise. Great Walking ShoesI bought the purple and grey, size 9.5 pair. I have narrow, long feet and have a hard time finding shoes to wear, especially since I don't wear leather or suede. Just about every shoe I try on is too wide or rubs blisters on my feet, even if it's the right size.
I like these because they are pretty narrow, despite being medium-width. They're also very light shoes, they're squishy on the inside, they're really comfortable, and they make great walking shoes. I tried on some Nikes that were similar, but they were too wide and made my already big feet look even bigger. They also rubbed uncomfortably on the skin right below my ankles. These don't rub blisters on my feet and didn't take any time to break in.
I used to wear Converse all the time, and I think these are way more comfortable, though I still like Converse. The only downside is that they are pretty expensive. I'm happy with them, though, and glad I got them.
Hurt my toes...but otherwise good.First I bought a pair that were on sale at a store in the mall but didn't realize that they were girls shoes instead of womens. The only difference between the girls and the womens is the amount of support in the footbed. I decided to buy a pair of womens at full price and the optimal had just come on the market so I bought a pair of the gray/purple. At first I really liked them but the first time I wore them to the gym I got a painful/bleeding blister across the tops of my toes. This happened due to a piece of clear plastic that goes across the top of the shoe at the exact spot where the shoes/my toes bend while walking. It has even left an ugly red scar. I put a band-aid on the inside of the shoe so that it doesn't rub but I really should not have had to do that but it was too late to return at that point and didn't want to waste the shoes. Soo, even though they hurt my toes I still like the shoes and enjoy how light they are and how flexible they are. I would only recommend...
