Great Sneakers For Zumba

Bloch dance sneakers
Perfect dance sneakers. I use them to practice. Very comfortable, good arch support, flexible, just enough slide. The sizes run very small. I had to return the first pair I ordered, and exchange for 1 full size larger.
Order one full size larger than your regular shoes!
They arrived in perfect condition and quite quickly.
This is my second pair. I wore off my first one completely. Danced in them for 5 years.
Best Zumba Shoe Ever!
I was wearing running shoes to Zumba class and figured out quickly that they are exactly the opposite of what you should be wearing for an exercise class like Zumba. They don't allow for easy side to side movements and I was started to get soreness in my knees. I ordered these dance shoes and they are perfect for allowing full range of movement, front to back and side to side. I am no longer experiencing pain in my knees. They are affordable and seem to be made well. They are super lightweight and bend completely in the middle which allows me to point my toes and get a better leg workout for certain moves. Much cheaper than the shoe Zumba sells. So happy with my purchase and I will be recommending them to other ladies In my class.

Like dancing on air
Loving these dance sneaks. They are SO lightweight! Where I Zumba, the floors aren't so great. The Capezios I wore had me slipping on certain parts of the floor like I was on ice. But these Bloch's are great; I only slide when I want to. I wear an 8.5 - 9 in street shoes, and bought these in a size 10 and they fit perfectly.

I ordered 3 pairs of dance sneakers - am an avid dancer, and sought a comfortable shoe I could wear with slacks or jeans. This shoe is great! Slides well, turns well. Very light. Very comfortable.
Perfect shoe for Zumba

These are very high quality for the price and were delivered right away. I do not agree with other reviews suggesting to order a 1/2 size up.

I have slender feet, not too narrow but not too wide. I would be happier with my normal size- they stretch out the minute you walk around in them.

Great shoe, runs 1 size small...
I wear a size 8.5 or 9 in most shoes. I took the advice of others and ordered 1 size up. Since I have wide feet I ordered a 10. It fits perfectly...just slightly long, but not a problem. Wore them to my hour long Zumba class and I was able to turn and twist without any problems. The leather is very soft and I felt no hot spots in the shoe.

I used to dance in my Vibrim 5 finger shoes, which worked fine until the gym I go to changed their flooring (it's not a slick as it used to be). So my Vibrims stuck too much to the floor and my calves and knees ached after class.

What drew me to this shoe were the reviews that stated that there is little to no support in this shoe. It is almost as if I am dancing barefoot, which is why I liked the Vibrim shoes. So, if you don't need the arch support and like to dance barefoot, you may really like this shoe! If you need the support of an athletic shoe, this is not the shoe for you.
fits like a glove
Just got my shoes today. They are super light-weight and the soft leather will mould to your feet. I bought these shoes for Zumba and will try them out at class tonight. The fit of these shoes is similar to that of a regular leather jazz shoe. I never liked to wear thick socks with my jazz shoes so I don't suspect these shoes will feel all that comfortable with socks given the fit is similar to a jazz shoe. I bought a half size up from my normal street shoe size and they fit perfectly, which is great since my feet won't slide around in the shoe when doing pivots and turns. The floors at our studio can get pretty sticky during humid weather so pivot pod will be perfect for that. Love how the split sole allows for pointing and flexing of the foot. Only giving 4/5 starts because they kinda look funny on my feet, but I think that has more to do with my natural foot shape than my shoe. I know that the shoes will stretch after a few wears since I've had shoes made with soft leather...

Great Zumba Shoe
I ordered 1/2 size larger than I normally wear. They were a little tight at first, but after 2 or 3 sessions, they stretched out and fit perfectly. The do not stick to the floor when doing turns like my old shoes did. I would recommend these shoes for anyone doing aerobic dance or Zumba. My instructor even asked what brand they were.

Best shoes!
I love these shoes, not only for Zumba but the Firm workout DVD's which have you pivot a lot. I noticed I was having knee pain in my normal shoes and these work great on carpet! No more tweeking and pinching in my legs. They were worth the money. Bloch is a quality brand and if you are like me and have a narrow heel and the front of your foot it a normal width these are the best shoes! They have good lateral support, to the negitive reviews I say; you know nothing about dance shoes they always run 1/2-2 sizes small and you should have gone to a dance shop for a fitting before buying online. So if you are going to buy these or any dance shoe find a local dance shop tell them you are thinking of buying shoes get a fitting for every style and brand you are interested in. Some shops will price match just to pull in business so if you fall in love with something just ask if they will price match and if they don't Amazon is a great choice. You can rarely beat the prices on here.
Not true to size
These super cute dance shoes are not true to size. I have worn bloch shoes before and knew they are slightly narrow but loosen up with wear, so I was not surprised they felt a little tight when I tried them on. One dance class later and I could barely walk.. They run at least two sizes small. Obviously, they have been worn and can't be returned. Unless you have tiny, narrow feet I would try a different sneaker.

it`s my second pair of Bloch Women`s Trinity Sneakers. I have used them for my Zumba classes every day. I bought 1,5 size bigger, because I am using insoles with gel.I Like this model, BUT the soles of the shoes was erased out very quickly (less then 6 months). Anyway it is comfy, very light, very flexible, you can do any rotation, dont need to tie these shoes

Too tight!
I bought these shoes for Zumba. I ordered a half size larger as advised for any dance shoe. The length fit perfectly but because I have a high arch I could not stand the tight fit. The tongue of the shoe is a tight elastic netting and I found I could not wear the shoe with or with out socks so I sent them back. It really is a shame because the shoe is attractive and the little bit I did wear them on a linoleum floor they seemed liked they would have worked.
They run small
These shoes work well for Zumba classes. Just be sure you buy a 1/2 size or size larger than your size shoes because I found that they run small. They are also pretty narrow shoes so if you have a wider food they may not be the best choice

Great for Zumba Classes
I saw my Zumba instructor with a Bloch shoes and asked her where she got it and she gave me the Bloch website. I got it cheaper here at Amazon and I really like it.

I read a lot of reviews on this product before I decided to get it and all mentioned to get it a size and a half bigger, which was great for getting a larger size...I am a size 10 and I ordered a size 11.5 and it was a perfect fit!!!. So much so that I will be buying another type of Bloch shoes soon for other gym classes, great quality indeed.

I would recommend this item to a friend.

Just what I wanted for ZUMBA!
Purchased these for a Zumba class at the recommendation of my instructions who is a former professional dancer. The color is very pretty but the sizing is odd. I typically wear an 8, sometimes a 7.5 so I ordered a 9.5. I really could've ordered a 9 and been happy. They are comfy and easy to walk in and wear. Much better than my regular sneakers for walking that were making my ankle area sore while doing Zumba. I've recommended them to everyone in class and would buy them again, only smaller! :)

Love them!!
I was using a Nike shoe previous to this that didn't provide the ankle support I needed in my Zumba classes. This looked like it had the right amount of cushion. I've had them for two classes so far and haven't experienced the ankle pain that I've had in the past. Sizing: I wear an 8.5 shoe and I purchased a 9.5 and it fit perfectly. My sugggestion is to avoid any return charges and go to a dance store to try them on for sure. I got lucky when I ordered a size bigger.
EXTREMELY HAPPY!
Just received my shoes well before the estimate delivery date. They fit perfectly and yes, do order one size bigger than you wear your regular sneakers. Notice though that the colour pink on the image is a little brighter than the one of the colour swatch when ordering. The swatch is the exact colour of the shoe, more of a salmon pink which is what I wanted so I am very happy with my first shopping experience with Amazon and with Discount Dance Supply.

I LOVE my Bloch Sneakers!!!!!! I use them for Zumba 2-3 times/week. They have GREAT arch support and are so-o-o-o-o comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to see how much better I can turn and pivot as I HAD been wearing regular walking shoes and I am moving so much better in Zumba class. A WORD OF WARNING......BE SURE TO ORDER AT LEAST ONE-HALF SIZE LARGER THAN YOU NORMALLY WEAR. I wear a Size 7-1/2 and ordered a Size 8. At first, I was afraid they might be a tad tight; however, they are just fine. I have an extremely narrow foot so, if your foot is wide, I do not believe this shoe will work for you as this shoe definitely runs narrow and is perfect for me. Amazon also did their normal superior job with fast shipping. What a GREAT company.....I ALWAYS feel comfortable when I order from Amazon!!!! WHAT A GREAT COMPANY!!!!!!

Bought for a Zumba and a line dancing class. Flexible. Moves well on hardwood floor but not too slippery. Comfortable. Bought one full size larger and they fit well. Would buy same product again.
Help on sizing of Bloch dance trainers/sneakers for international customers
Beware the size equivalency charts when ordering this shoe online!

Through trial and error I have figured out the sizing of the Bloch shoes and share it here for the benefit of other international customers like myself. First of all, the 'Bloch size' is neither a US, Australian, UK nor Euro size despite what you may be told and despite the equivalency chart on the shoe itself. Secondly, the seller does not take the sizes the shoes actually come in and standardize them to correct US sizing for filling orders, making ordering all the more challenging.

In street shoes I normally wear a US or Australian 7, UK 4 1/2 or 5 and Euro 37 or 37 1/2 (sometimes shown as equating to a Euro 38). In regular US sneakers/trainers (the non-dance variety) I wear a 6 or 7.

I ordered the Evolution in a US 6 but when the shoes arrived, they were clearly too small at first glance, before even attempting to try them on. Examining the equivalency size chart inside the shoe...

Great Shoes
I purchased these shoes for my Zumba class. I love them! I was wearing tennis shoes and by the end of class my arches really hurt. With these shoes I am allowed so much more movement and now I have no problems with my arches. I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone taking a Zumba class!
Good shoe for zumba, TRUE TO SIZE
I ordered these shoes for zumba and wore them to class for the first time today. They are great for this purpose because they are lightweight and allow for free movement of the feet. I have read other complaints about no arch support. These are split sole shoes, there is not supposed to be any arch support. They are designed to let your foot flex and pivot, which is why they are great for any kind of dance class. My main piece of advice is to order your true shoe size. I took the advice of others and ordered a size up. I normally wear an 8 1/2 so I got the 9. Big mistake! These are supposed to fit snug on your foot, like a glove. I wore socks and was still sliding around in the shoe, plus the back kept slipping off my heel. Trust me, DO NOT ORDER A SIZE UP! Now I will have to pay $6 to get them exchanged.

Why this Zumba lover is returning these shoes. It's not because of fit!!
This review is purely subjective. I had high hopes when I purchased these Block Women's Boost Dance Sneakers. I own numerous pairs of sneakers/shoes for different activities including walking, biking, and bootcamp. I work out every day and take at least four Zumba/Zumba-Tone classes a week. I wanted something to wear that would support my foot, weren't clunky, and would allow me to move a bit more freely. I wear a size 7.5 so I sized up a full size to an 8.5 as recommended. The fit was fine, they weren't clunky or heavy. So, I decided to try them at home on various surfaces while working out to my Zumba DVDs. My teachers use plyometric moves with explosive jumps and kicks as well as fast footwork and pivots so I added them to the routine just to see if I could land without hurting myself.I loved the fact that there is a "sweet spot" on the bottom that allows the wearer to pivot and slide with ease.

Great dance sneakers
Love these dance sneakers. I do line dancing and rock n roll in them and they are excellent. They slide beautifully but not so much that you go zooming off the floor! They also look good. Split sole is not a problem for me. I tried them on at the shop first for correct size. Left foot perfect, Right foot is a little small - toe is touchng end of the shoe, as my right foot is slightly bigger but as they are soft I'm thinking they'll stretch slightly. I normally take a size 7AU/7-1/2US street size or 8-1/2 in my Adidas or Reebok trainers. You need to go up 1-1/2 - 2 sizes from street size. I got the 9. I have quite narrow feet and they're not too wide. The bloch website is accurate with the sizing charts.
great shoe
I bought this shoe for Zumba. It is very comfortable to dance in, but not good for walking. I don't even wear them into the gym. The only drawback I see is that SOMETIMES it slips a tiny bit. I wanted these because they do have the ability to pivot without knee torque. I feel these shoes have saved my knees and ankles. Zumba requires some twisting and other dance moves that are not served well by athletic shoes. They do run smaller than size marked. I normally wear a 9.5 athletic shoe but need a 10 in this style. It is a joy to dance in a comfortable shoe that fits!
